San Jose, Costa Rica – October 9, 2012 – What’s better than giving online poker players a shot at one massive $50,000 guaranteed prize pool? The answer: Giving them a shot at two $50,000 guaranteed prize pools – on the same day.
Americas Cardroom will pair its two most prestigious tournaments on October 14 to create a combined one-day guarantee of $100,000, the online poker site announced today.
One of the events will be Americas Cardroom’s weekly Sunday Night $50K, which starts at 7:00pm ET and is the site’s biggest weekly guarantee. First place in the event almost always takes home at least $10,000, with more big paydays paid to players who make deep runs. With a buy-in of $200+$15, each player starts with a huge 10,000-strong chip stack, making it a deep structure with lots of play.
The second October 14 event will be The Beast $50K Guaranteed. The Beast is Americas Cardroom’s groundbreaking progressive points race that revolutionizes how jackpots are awarded. It is funded entirely through players’ shared contributions at jackpot tables.
